Sill for Mac
Your
notch,
put to work.
Music, files, notes, your day and your agents, one hover away — in the space your Mac already set aside.
curl -fsSL https://sill.burakbuilds.dev/install.sh | shVersion 1.5 · Requires macOS 14 or later · See what it runs
Drop it now.
Grab it later.
Drag anything toward the notch and Sill opens before you get there. Drop it on the Shelf and it waits — photos, documents, clips — until you drag it out into Mail, Figma or Finder. Or drop it on AirDrop and it’s on its way.
HEIC to JPEG.
No app required.
Drop a file on Convert and pick a format — images, video, audio, HTML to PDF. It runs on your Mac with Apple’s own encoders, offline, and it only offers formats your Mac can really write.
Your music,
one hover away.
Artwork, the title and a real scrubber, for Apple Music, Spotify and music playing in your browser. While it plays, four small bars keep time beside the notch.
Type “tom 9am p1”.
Sill files it.
Quick notes and to-dos that read the words you were going to type anyway — today, tomorrow, weekdays, times and priority. No fields, no forms, no project manager.
What’s next,
without the switch.
Your day and the month at a glance, today’s to-dos underneath, and a Join button on anything with a video link. Read-only by design: Sill never writes to your calendar.
Know the moment
Claude is done.
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others report through their own hooks. Working, needs you, done: a badge drops beside the notch, and the Agents tab shows every session at once.
The notch
keeps the time.
A Pomodoro whose progress runs around the notch’s own outline. Keep Awake, external display brightness, audio devices and a keyboard-cleaning mode sit one tab over.
Every module is a switch.
Turn off what you don’t use and it’s gone — from the tabs, from the drop targets, from memory. A module that’s off is never even created.
Layout moves first.
Content follows.
Every movement in Sill comes from three springs, the same three everywhere. The shell makes room, and only then does the content arrive — so nothing ever appears in space that isn’t there yet. Interrupt it halfway and it turns from wherever it is.
240 / 26550 / 451300 / 72Native. Local. Quiet.
A native Mac app, drawn on the notch’s exact geometry for each display.
Notes, the Shelf and every conversion stay on your Mac. No account.
Sill reacts to what happens instead of polling for it.
No Dock icon, no ⌘-Tab entry unless you want one. Just the notch.
No notch? Sill sits at the top centre of any display, and works the same way.
Sill sends one anonymous count a day, and you can switch it off.
A day around the notch.
